It is a land of six seasons. Each season has its own characteristics. In each season Nature appears before us in new attire. In Bangladesh summer is very hot. The sun shines very hotly. But sometimes refreshing breeze blows and it gives man relief from the excessive heat. In the afternoon people sit in the open field and enjoy the refreshing breeze. They feel fresh. Young boys play football and other outdoor games. 

At night people in the rural area sit in the open field and spend the night in gossiping. Sometimes they sleep in the open field. The town people sit on the roof of their houses and enjoy the pleasant breeze. The Champa, the Beli, the Karabi, the Jaba and the Bakul bloom during this season. Different kinds of fruits are seen hanging in the branches of trees. After summer comes the rainy season. The sky remains overcast with clouds. It rains for days together. The ponds, canals, rivers etc. are full to the brim. During the rainy season various kinds of flowers bloom. যখন মেঘের সাদা পাল পরিষ্কার নীল আকাশে ভেসে বেড়ায়, তখন এটি শরতের আগমনের ঘোষণা দেয়। অতিরিক্ত বৃষ্টি ও গরম থেকে মানুষ স্বস্তি পায়। এটি একটি মনোরম ঋতু. এই ঋতুতে প্রকৃতি নতুন সাজে সাজে। গাছপালা এবং গাছ সতেজ এবং সজীব দেখায়। এটা খুব গরম বা খুব ঠান্ডা না. এই ঋতুতে শেফালী ও জলের লিলি ফুটে।

বসন্ত, সমস্ত ঋতুর রাজা অনেক সুন্দর প্রাকৃতিক উপহার নিয়ে আসে যা আমাদের শরীর ও মনকে সতেজ করে। এটি বছরের সবচেয়ে আনন্দদায়ক এবং সবচেয়ে সুন্দর ঋতু। পাতাহীন গাছের প্রতিটি ডালে নতুন পাতা ঝুলছে। এই ঋতুতে গাছ সতেজ ও প্রাণবন্ত দেখায়। পুরো প্রকৃতি তখন হাসে। মৃদু বাতাস দক্ষিণ দিক থেকে বইতে শুরু করে এবং আমাদের মনকে সতেজ করে। এই ঋতুতে অনেক গানের পাখি মিষ্টি গান গায়। কোকিল ফিরে এসে পাতার আড়ালে মিষ্টি গান গায়। বউ কথা কও আরেকটি গানের পাখি এবং এই মৌসুমে মিষ্টি গান করে। ফুলে রঙেরও বৈচিত্র্য রয়েছে।
