Elders are also a part of our society. Human beings are born as baby on this beautiful world and after a certain period of time they become elder in the society. They were the strength of our civilization. In every locality there are lots of Older persons. In my locality the number is not small. I want to do something for them. In course of time I will raise a fund for the welfare of the Older persons. By this fund I will establish an Older persons' inn.
All the helpless older people of my locality will be able to stay there free of living cost, medical treatment cost etc. With the help of my locality's well-to-do people I will provide them all kinds of human right. For their recreation and reminiscence, I will arrange gathering for them. We are young generation. So we are the greatest power of the society.
We can spread our helping hand to the elders. Whenever they are in any kind of trouble, we can come forth to help them. If they can't cross a road, we can help them. We can give them current information of the world. We can include them in our working opportunity. Social awareness can be raised for the older persons. We must be kind to them. We must treat them as they treated us when we were helpless babies creeping upon the earth.
অর্থঃ প্রবীণরাও আমাদের সমাজের একটি অংশ। মানুষ এই সুন্দর পৃথিবীতে শিশু হয়ে জন্ম নেয় এবং একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময় পরে সমাজে বড় হয়। তাদের জীবনের পথে তারা সার্রাল গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এবং গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশগুলি খেলে যা পরবর্তী প্রজন্মের জন্য অনেক বেশি সুবিধা দেয়। তাই বয়স্ক ব্যক্তিদের যেভাবেই হোক অবহেলা করা উচিত নয়।
তারা ছিল আমাদের সভ্যতার শক্তি। প্রতিটি এলাকায় প্রচুর বয়স্ক ব্যক্তি রয়েছে। আমার এলাকায় সংখ্যাটা কম নয়। আমি তাদের জন্য কিছু করতে চাই। সময়ের সাথে সাথে আমি প্রবীণদের কল্যাণে একটি তহবিল সংগ্রহ করব। এই তহবিলের মাধ্যমে আমি একটি বয়স্ক ব্যক্তিদের সরাইখানা প্রতিষ্ঠা করব।
আমার এলাকার সব অসহায় বয়স্ক মানুষ সেখানে বিনা খরচে থাকতে পারবে, চিকিৎসার খরচ ইত্যাদি। আমার এলাকার স্বচ্ছল মানুষদের সাহায্যে আমি তাদের সব ধরনের মানবাধিকার দেব। তাদের চিত্তবিনোদন ও স্মৃতিচারণের জন্য আমি তাদের জন্য সমাবেশের ব্যবস্থা করব। আমরা তরুণ প্রজন্ম। তাই আমরাই সমাজের সবচেয়ে বড় শক্তি।
আমরা প্রবীণদের কাছে আমাদের সাহায্যের হাত ছড়িয়ে দিতে পারি। যখনই তারা কোনো সমস্যায় পড়ে, আমরা তাদের সাহায্য করতে এগিয়ে আসতে পারি। যদি তারা রাস্তা পার হতে না পারে, আমরা তাদের সাহায্য করতে পারি। আমরা তাদের বিশ্বের বর্তমান তথ্য দিতে পারি। আমরা তাদের আমাদের কাজের সুযোগে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করতে পারি। বয়স্ক ব্যক্তিদের জন্য সামাজিক সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করা যেতে পারে। তাদের প্রতি আমাদের সদয় হতে হবে। আমাদের অবশ্যই তাদের সাথে এমন আচরণ করতে হবে যেভাবে তারা আমাদের সাথে আচরণ করেছিল যখন আমরা অসহায় শিশু ছিলাম পৃথিবীতে লতানো।
