I have received your letter. I am sorry for not replying to it earlier because I was busy with my studies. You have wanted to know about my preparation for the coming H.S.C examination. You will be glad to know that I have taken quite a good preparation for it. Mathematics seems very interesting to me. I hope I would be able to cut a good figure in Mathematics. I have also read thoroughly almost all the topics of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I have although been well off in language. I think I will do well in English and Bangla, Moreover. I have solved different questions of quite a good number of boards and colleges from the test paper. Special classes are also being taken by our teachers in the college. I can assure you that if God wishes I could save your face in the forthcoming examination. I am well, With best wishes to mother and love to the younger brothers and sisters.

আমি আপনার চিঠি পেয়েছি. আমি আমার পড়াশুনা নিয়ে ব্যস্ত ছিলাম বলে এর আগে উত্তর না দেওয়ার জন্য আমি দুঃখিত। আপনি আসন্ন H.S.C পরীক্ষার জন্য আমার প্রস্তুতি সম্পর্কে জানতে চেয়েছেন। আপনি জেনে খুশি হবেন যে আমি এর জন্য বেশ ভালো প্রস্তুতি নিয়েছি। গণিত আমার কাছে খুব আকর্ষণীয় মনে হয়। আমি আশা করি আমি গণিতে একটি ভাল অঙ্ক কাটতে সক্ষম হবে. আমি পদার্থবিদ্যা, রসায়ন এবং জীববিজ্ঞানের প্রায় সব বিষয় পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খভাবে পড়েছি। যদিও আমি ভাষায় ভালো ছিলাম। আমি মনে করি আমি ইংরেজি ও বাংলায় ভালো করব। আমি পরীক্ষার প্রশ্নপত্র থেকে বেশ ভালো সংখ্যক বোর্ড ও কলেজের বিভিন্ন প্রশ্নের সমাধান করেছি। কলেজে আমাদের শিক্ষকরাও বিশেষ ক্লাস নিচ্ছেন। আমি আপনাকে আশ্বস্ত করতে পারি যে যদি ঈশ্বর চান আমি আসন্ন পরীক্ষায় আপনার মুখ রক্ষা করতে পারি। আমি ভালো আছি, মায়ের জন্য শুভ কামনা এবং ছোট ভাই বোনদের জন্য ভালোবাসা।
