Last week I had the opportunity to visit my village primary school on the occasion of re-union of the ex-students of the school arranged by the teachers. I went there with four other boys of my native village who also studied there. When we reached there, we found the school buidling nicely decorated with colourful flowers and festoons. There I saw many other friends. We were very glad to see one another after a long gap. We recollected the days we had spent there. We were filled with intense emotions and feelings, Really we could not express our feelings in terms of words. We embraced each other and started chewing the memories of the days we had there. We noticed a great change in the school. When we were students, it was a tin-shedded building. Today it is a big two storeyd building.

অনুবাদঃ গত সপ্তাহে শিক্ষকদের আয়োজনে বিদ্যালয়ের প্রাক্তন ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের পুনঃমিলন উপলক্ষে আমার গ্রামের প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় পরিদর্শনের সুযোগ হয়। আমি আমার গ্রামের অন্য চার ছেলের সাথে সেখানে গিয়েছিলাম যারা সেখানে পড়াশোনা করেছিল। আমরা যখন সেখানে পৌঁছেছি, আমরা দেখতে পেলাম স্কুলটি সুন্দরভাবে রঙিন ফুল এবং ফেস্টুন দিয়ে সজ্জিত। সেখানে আরও অনেক বন্ধুকে দেখলাম। দীর্ঘ ব্যবধানের পর একে অপরকে দেখে আমরা খুব খুশি হয়েছিলাম। সেখানে কাটানো দিনগুলোর কথা মনে পড়ে গেল। আমরা তীব্র আবেগ এবং অনুভূতিতে পরিপূর্ণ ছিলাম, সত্যিই আমরা আমাদের অনুভূতিগুলি শব্দে প্রকাশ করতে পারিনি। আমরা একে অপরকে আলিঙ্গন করি এবং আমাদের সেখানে থাকা দিনের স্মৃতি চিবানো শুরু করি। আমরা স্কুলে একটি দুর্দান্ত পরিবর্তন লক্ষ্য করেছি। আমরা যখন ছাত্র ছিলাম, তখন এটা ছিল টিনের চালাঘর বিল্ডিং। আজ এটি একটি বড় দোতলা বিল্ডিং।
