A Road Accident Paragraph
Road /Street accident has become a common and fatal event in our country: means the collision of vehicles on the street causing a great loss of wealth and lives. Street accidents are very often found on the busy streets of the towns and sometimes on the highways. The sorrowful incidents of crashing vehicles one over another 1s mainly caused by reckless driving. Secondly, the roads and streets of the most of our towns and cities are narrow. Besides, they take irregular turns towards every direction. Again, drivers always seek scopes to overtake each other even where it is unnecessary or unsafe. Most of the drivers do not have any proper training or valid driving license. Their deficiency and indifference contribute to the loss of our lives and assets by street accidents. Defective and out of date vehicles playing on the roads increase street accidents. Moreover, our roads are very defective and full of ditches. Every year severe floods occure, which cause irrepairable harms to our roads and transport systems. It is pathetic that everyday a good number of people become victims of street accident. In all the cases, the victims are seriously injured and very often, they face premature death. Sometimes street accidents cause loss or damage to our valuable goods when a cargo or a transport vehicle is crashed. Sometimes there occurs so severe street accidents in our country that becomes the lead news of the national dailies. To control street accident the strict rules should be imposed against reckless driving. Government and other non-government organizations like "Nirand Sorok Chai" should work to solve the problem.

It was about 3 pm we some classmates were on our way home from school. We were trying to cross the Mirpur Road near the Science Laboratory. A young boy was also crossing the road. Just at that moment a truck was crossing at a great speed. The ill fated boy noticed it but before he could go to the other side of the road he was run over by the speedy truck. The truck did not stop rather it! speeded away. I rushed to the spot. To my horror I saw that he was no more a human body but a lump of flesh. I was greatly shocked at this tragic scene. Now-a-days a street accident has become a common incident in Bangladesh. Everyday we find the news of street accident in the dailies. Some days ago, a tragic accident took place just before my nose at Matidali, Bogra on the Rangpur-Dhaka road . A boy was crossing the road near Matidali four crossing road. A bus with full speed was coming from the opposite direction. When the boy saw the bus a few yards near him, he got puzzled. Suddenly he turned and started to cross the road. He had just moved to the middle of the road and the bus ran over him. The bus stopped with a loud sound. A crowd rushed to the spot. I ran to the boy in the twinkling of an eye and I saw that he was senseless. There was blood flowing on the street. I took the wounded boy into a car and told the driver to proceed to the Upazilla Health Complex. There the doctors and nurses took every care of him. But it is a matter of great regret that he died there. I could not bear to watch the scene. I came back home with a heavy heart.

A Road Accident Paragraph
Last month, I was going to madrasah. My madrasah is situated at Bakshi bazar in Dhaka. Due to traffic signal, all passengers stopped near the Science Laboratory. Suddenly, a terrible accident occurred in front of my eyes. There was an over-bridge under construction. One of the slabs of the over bridge fell on a car. The car was fully smashed. One of the passengers of the car died on the spot and another was seriously injured. My rickshaw was just behind it. Allah saved me. People were running scatteredly. Police started to do their duty. The death of the man was very pathetic. In fact, it is a common mishap in Bangladesh. We should be very careful and cautious to stop it immediately. The co-operation of people of all walks of life is necessary in this perspective obviously.

অনুবাদ: গত মাসে আমি মাদ্রাসায় যাচ্ছিলাম। আমার মাদ্রাসাটি ঢাকার ধানমন্ডিতে অবস্থিত । ট্রাফিক সিগন্যালের কারণে সমস্ত যাত্রী সাইন্স ল্যাবরেটরীর নিকট দাড়াল । হঠাৎ আমার চোখের সামনে একটি মারাত্মক দুর্ঘটনা ঘটল। সেখানে একটা ওভার ব্রীজ নির্মাণাধীন ছিল। ওভারব্রীজের একটা স্ল্যাব একটি গাড়ির উপর পড়ল । গাড়িটি লণ্ডভণ্ড হয়ে গেল । ঘটনাস্থলেই গাড়ির একজন যাত্রী মারা গেল এবং আরেকজন মারাত্মকভাবে আহত হল । আমার রিকশাটা ঠিক এর পেছনে ছিল, আল্লাহ আমাকে রক্ষা করেছেন। লােকজন যত্রতত্র দৌড়াদৌড়ি করছিল। পুলিশ তাদের কর্তব্য শুরু করল । লােকটির মৃত্যু খুবই করুণ ছিল। বস্তুত এটা বাংলাদেশের সাধারণ ঘটনা। এটা অনতিবিলম্বে বন্ধের জন্য আমাদের যত্নবান ও সতর্ক হতে হবে। এই প্রেক্ষাপটে সুস্পষ্টভাবে সর্বস্তরের লােকের সহযােগিতা প্রয়ােজন।

Nowadays it has become a common incident in Bangladesh. Everyday we find the news of street accident in the dailies. There are many causes of street accidents. Reckless driving is one of the main causes. Drivers are not careful enough to maintain road safety. Many of them have serious overtaking tendency. This increases accidents. Driver's skill is also a big question. Many unskilled drivers procure their driving license by giving bribe. At the hands of these drivers, lives of the passengers are at great risk. The bad condition of our streets is also another issue. In many areas the roads are narrow and zigzag. Such streets increase accidents. Moreover, there are many vehicles that have no fitness. They lose control on the street and become the cause of accident. It is necessary to control street accidents. For this, streets need to be constructed on proper plan.
