A fox fell into a well a goat came the fox invited him to drink sweet water the goat jumped down the fox leaped on its horns and got out of the well.

Once upon a time a fox became very thirsty and went here and there in search of a drink. At last he came to an old well in a field. He leapt down in it and drank and drank to his heart's content. When his thirst was gone he tried to get out. But he could not, as---------

A CUNNING FOX AND A FOOLISH GOAT 

Once upon a time a fox became very thirsty and went here and there in search of a drink. At last he came to an old well in a field. He leapt down in it and drank and drank to his heart's content. When his thirst was gone he tried to get out. But he could not, as the well around was high and he could not climb up. He had stayed there for sometime when be saw a goat at the top of the well. She, too, had come for a drink. "Friend, may I get a drink from the well here?" said she to the fox, "Of course, you can jump down and drink you fill." At this the goat leapt down. The fox now put his feet on the horns of the goat and sprang to the top of the well. "Friend goat." said the fox. "If you had brains in your head, you would to have leap down into the well when you did not know the way out of it. You should have looked before you leapt down into the well.' 

Moral : "Look before you leap.". 

Or, Do not believe a rogue.

A fox fell into a well-a goat came the fox invited him to drink sweet water--the goat jumped down--the fox leaped on its horns and got out of the well.

Once a thirsty fox happened to fall into a well. He tried his best to get out of it but in vain. After a while a goat came there for a drink. As the goat peeped in, he saw the fox inside the well. "What are you doing there at the bottom of the well?" asked the goat. The cunning fox was glad to see the goat and at once made a plan. He invited the goat and said, "My friend, this well is famous for its sweet water. I have jumped in and I'm drinking to my heart's content. If you want a taste of it yourself, please jump into it." Without a second thought the foolish goat jumped into the well. The fox at once leaped on the goat's back, then or to his long horns and got out of the well. Before leaving the place he looked back into the well and said. "Foolish goat, look before you leap." !

Moral : Look before you leap.
