The man who gives medical treatment to the village people is known as a Village doctor. The village doctor is well known and an important person to the villagers. He may not have medical degree. But he may be an experienced quack. He may have one almirah with some medicine. Cheap and common medicines are in his dispensary. His instruments too are not enough. A thermometer, a syringe and a stethoscope are all the necessaries that he will carry with him. He does a great service to the people of the village on foot or bicycle. A village doctor is always active. He gets up early in the morning. He leads a very hard and busy life. He began to see his patients at 8. a. m to late at night. He is the best friend of the villages. He also helps the poor people with free medical advice as well as free medicine. As a whole a village doctor is a useful and important person of the village society.
